The European Health Data Space (EHDS) is moving from policy to implementation. Making this vision a reality requires more than technical specifications—it requires the experience, insights and collaboration of the people and organisations who will ultimately implement and use it. Completing an i2X survey will absolutely act as a first step to help with this!

The i2X project is building a European implementation ecosystem around the European Electronic Health Record Exchange Format (EEHRxF). Its ecosystem is bringing together patients, healthcare professionals and digital health vendors to generate practical knowledge that can support interoperable digital health across Europe.

A Call to fill in a survey

As part of its efforts, i2X has launched three stakeholder surveys to better understand real-world needs, implementation challenges, and opportunities.

By participating in one of the surveys, you will contribute to a growing European implementation effort that aims to:

• Identify common implementation challenges across different healthcare settings.
• Exchange practical experiences and lessons learned.
• Support the development and unlocking of high-quality, interoperable health data exchange.
• Generate implementation knowledge that will be shared with the wider community.
• Contribute to networking and dialogue among stakeholders implementing the EEHRxF.
• Help build, and experience, a sustainable European ecosystem supporting the implementation of the EHDS.

These surveys are only the first step in a journey and the building of an ecosystem.

i2X’s journey

Throughout the project, i2X will share aggregated findings, implementation insights, and emerging lessons. It will do so through i2X communication channels and stakeholder engagement activities.
