Hybrid event

The first annual event for the Advanced Virtual Human Twins (VHT) Platform will provide an opportunity to take stock of progress and shape the platform based on real user needs and structured community feedback.
The event is organised by the EC Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CONNECT) with the support of the VHTnet consortium.
Over the course of the two days, participants will discuss how to strengthen usability, adoption, interoperability and trust in the emerging VHT platform.

- Validation of the platform’s direction vis-a-vis community expectations
- Review of elicitation findings and identification of remaining gaps
- Stakeholder engagement and participation incentives
- Adoption drivers, barriers and enabling services
- Capacity-building, user support and legal/ethical awareness needs
- Lessons from comparable initiatives for the design of a VHT community hub
- Prioritisation of low-level requirements for the first version of the platform
- Definition of the core scope for the first platform release, including interoperability and readiness considerations
Target audience
The first day is open to all stakeholders, subject to registration, including:
- Members of the wider VHT User Community
- Researchers and academics
- Developers and technical experts
- Patient organisations
- Regulators
- Industry representatives and innovators
- Other stakeholders interested in the development and uptake of Advanced VHT models
