The BeWell project is excited to announce an open public consultation on the development of a future Skills Strategy. This survey invites stakeholders from across Europe to provide feedback on the potential contents of the strategy, which will focus on enhancing digital skills and green skills in the health and care sector.
About the BeWell Project
The BeWell project is a collaborative initiative funded by the Erasmus+ programme. It is aimed at addressing the evolving needs of the health and care workforce. By bringing together experts from various sectors, BeWell seeks to develop innovative strategies and tools to support and enhance professional skills across Europe. The project focuses on integrating digital skills and green skills into workforce development to better prepare health and care professionals for future challenges.
About the Consultation
The BeWell Skills Strategy is being developed in two stages, with two versions. The first version is currently open for consultation. It has been created by the BeWell project partnership. You can review the summary version and the full version. BeWell are seeking input from a diverse range of stakeholders to refine and improve the strategy’s approach, objectives, and recommendations before finalising the second version.
Why Your Input Matters
The final version of the skills strategy is scheduled for deployment in 2026. It will be implemented at local, regional, national, and European levels. Its primary focus will be on digital skills and green skills. The goal is to ensure that the strategy is robust, applicable, measurable, and fully implementable.
Who Should Participate
BeWell invites contributions from:
- Education providers
- Employers and members of the health and care workforce
- Healthcare decision-makers and policy-makers
- Representatives of civil society organizations involved in healthcare
- Patients
- Citizens
How to Participate
Engage in the consultation by taking part in this survey. It is available in nine languages, including English, French, German, and Italian. It is divided into six sections, each addressing different aspects of the current strategy. You don’t have to complete all the survey questions! (If you do, the whole survey will take you about 35 minutes to complete.)
Your feedback will be instrumental in shaping a final version of the skills strategy that provides an accurate reflection of the needs of the health and care workforce. The eventual strategy will serve as an advocacy tool for enhanced skilling, lifelong learning, and continuous professional development across Europe in 2026 and beyond.
