Organised with the support of Laurel project, this webinar will:
- Showcase innovative applications of technology in long-term care.
- Identify potential applications in the near future.
Through this webinar, we are looking forward to sharing with you virtually the expertise of the EHTEL Community. On 16 May we will examine the experience of Catalonia in digitalizing long-term care. Bartomeu Ayala (Althaia) and Xavier Gironès (the Catalan Government) will be presenting their success stories.
The first part will present examples of digital technologies in support of people with long-term care needs in different European health and social care systems.
The second part will hold its discussions in the frame of groups of high-level technology applied to the long-term care sector.
The webinar includes a moderated discussion about the development of hybrid models of care to cope with increasing needs and demand, new digital skills and the value of new AI-based technologies.
This Transforming Care Delivery track event is supported by the Laurel project. It forms part of EHTEL's 2024 work programme on 'Imagining 2029'. The track focuses on how the development of hybrid models of care copes with increasing needs and demand, new digital skills, and the value of new AI-based technologies.
You are invited to "feed" the Laurel project with your own experiences in digitalizing long-term care! We welcome you to share your best practices in the field of long-term care digital transformation during the webinar.
