The deliverable D6.2 – “Electronic prescription and electronic dispensation: Implementation guides on EEHRxF, functional and technical requirements and specifications for EHR systems” establishes the requirements and specifications for EHR systems to support the exchange and interoperability of electronic prescriptions and electronic dispensations across the European Union.
The deliverable contains a review of relevant guidelines, specifications, and standards including eHealth Network guidelines, MyHealth@EU requirements, previous EU projects, and ISO standards.
The deadline to provide comments on D6.2 is the 15 September 2025.
Please find attached the following four documents:
- D6.2 draft document for your feedback. Please note that in addition to the deliverable document, Xt-EHR Logical Models for prescription and dispensation and HL7 Europe FHIR IGs for Medication Prescription and Dispense are provided and considered part of the deliverable.
- Guidelines on how to provide comments, includes all relevant details and deadlines.
- D6.2 commenting form, final version of Excel template to provide comments on D6.2.
- D6.2 Consultation Briefing Document, short overview of the deliverable and additional questions we would like the stakeholders to pay extra attention to when giving feedback.

Who is invited to comment
Feedback on the deliverables is collected on national level in all participating European countries as well as via the Members of the eHealth Stakeholder Group that EHTEL is part of.
On a national level, stakeholders are selected in a Member State specific process that varies across the different countries.
If you are not selected, you can still submit your comments via EHTEL, and we will consolidate them.
