In imagining 2029 and health data/digital developments over the next decade, on the second afternoon of the Symposium it was considered important to take a practical look at what is happening concretely in fields such as medical devices, AI, and the use of genomic data.
✅ ePoll: Taking a fun approach to an ePoll, attendees were asked to cite their preferred movies or books that highlight the technological future as a dystopia. Top favourite was ‘1984’. Three equal second favourites were the movies, ‘Back to the future’, ‘She’, and ‘Solaris’.
