Spring brings plenty of new beginnings, dynamism and opportunities to meet in-person with the EHTEL community.
First, let’s kick-off the EHTEL 2024 events: EHTEL's 2024 Work Programme agenda is now out. It is spreading its many branches of activity through a series of webinars, workshops and opportunities to connect, hosted by major European events and projects.
In the 2024 Work Programme, EHTEL brings together three transformation challenges in a series of workshops and webinars that will culminate in the holding of EHTEL's 2024 Symposium. Your involvement and engagement in these important moves forward are welcomed!
EHTEL member, Kelyon, is proud to announce that three of its proprietary digital solutions have been included in a set of recommendations published by DIGITAL EUROPE. The recommendations look at the next five years.
Tino Marti, one of EHTEL's three digital health facilitators, was recently interviewed by HTN, a health tech digital news platform. Tino chose to emphasise the importance of scaling-up digital health in Europe, and to highlight the role of the DigitalHealthUptake coordination and support action in which EHTEL participates.
On 15 March 2024, the Council of the EU announced that it and the European Parliament reached a provisional agreement on a new law making it easier to exchange and access health data at EU level. The agreement will now need to be endorsed by both the Council and the Parliament.
As patients, caregivers or healthcare professionals, we are accustomed to using online medical consultations and digital health services. But are they really responding to our needs? EHTEL member, Lovexair, is running a short survey on how to humanize telehealth experiences.
Deadline of 15 April 2024. Fill in a quick form to get on board with pilot BeWell digital health training! The pilot training addresses healthcare sector urgent needs for both digital skills and green skills: big data, cybersecurity, data protection management, healthcare ICT, problem-solving, and telehealth.
EHTEL is often approached with open calls, various funding opportunities and ideas for proposal submissions. As a result, we are keen to have these slots filled by experienced and knowledgeable EHTEL community members.
COMFORTage is a four-year EU funded project focusing on pioneering ways of improving prediction, monitoring, and offering of personalized recommendations for the prevention and relief of dementia and frailty. It does so by establishing a pan-European framework for community-based prevention and intervention strategies to facilitate effective lifestyle changes.
